Weighing only 800 grams and measuring 300 x 336 mm, each tile is capable of supporting over 120 kgs in weight, making it safe to walk on and easy to handle.

Torbex is a proprietary brand name of a material developed for Barrington Roof Tiles. It is a UV resistant, high strength structural composite. The material has undergone extensive environmental and performance testing and is supported by CSIRO Technical Assessment 279. Australian made, Barrington provides a thirty year structural and colour fast guarantee.

Manufactured from Torbex and tested by the CSIRO to the Australian Building Standards the interlocking design and moulded water channels ensure the Barrington slate will never leak or distort when correctly installed.
