In the end of 2008 Carter Roofing & Slating Pty Ltd restored a roof of a historic two storey building at Victoria Avenue, Claremont, Perth using Redland Rosemary plain tiles. The original tiles were replaced with identical plain tiles imported from U.K.
On 6th March 2010 our customer Olympic Holdings Pty Ltd were awarded 2010 BankWest Housing Excellence Award for the category of '2010 Best Alterations & Additions over $1 million. This historic home was originally built for Robert Bunning, a timber merchant, making this property a landmark to both Victoria Avenue and the Swan River.
This is the second time a roof restoration completed by Carter Roofing has received a Master Builder's award. The restoration of St George's Cathedral also received an award for the category of 'Master Builder Subcontractor of the Year - Cladding'. This was awarded to our client ITC Manufacturing Pty Ltd t/a The Cumbrian Slate Company.
